Mark Cook 

Director

Mark has worked in the family practice since 2005. Mark attained his Masters of Professional Accounting from Charles Sturt University in 2014 and took over from Cheryl as director in January 2017.


Mark is an associate member of the Institute of Professional Accounting (IPA), one of Australia’s professional accounting bodies.


Additionally Mark has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Aviation from the University of South Australia and received his commercial pilots licence in 1995.

 

Mark serves as the treasurer of the Get Home Safe Foundation. A not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to the road safety and driver education of Australians, to ensure they get home safe. 

Cheryl Cook

Senior Accountant

Cheryl has more than 40 years’ experience in accounting and taxation matters.

 

Cheryl is a fellow of both the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and The Taxation Institute (formerly known as the Taxation Institute of Australia) and is recognised as a Chartered Tax Advisor by The Tax Institute.


Additionally Cheryl is a senior associate member of the Financial Services Institute of Australiasia (FINSIA).


With Cheryl’s wealth and depth of knowledge, there is no doubt she can assist you with a wide range of taxation, finance and business matters.


Cheryl has been involved with the Glenelg District Cricket Club for more than three decades and proudly serves as its treasurer. 

Katrina Hutchinson

Accountant/SMSF Manager

Katrina is the firms SMSF manager and has a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Australia.


Katrina’s main specialty is SMSF and can assist with setup, compliance, retirement and pension planning, amongst other general superannuation and taxation matters.


Katrina is a fellow of The Taxation Institute (formerly known as the Taxation Institute of Australia) and is recognised as a Chartered Tax Advisor by The Tax Institute.


With Katrina’s large family and busy activities schedule, including treasurer of the Adelaide Tumbling Academy, Katrina works at the firm on a part-time basis and has known the Cook family for around 30 years. 

Sophie Cheney

Senior Bookkeeper

Sophie has extensive knowledge within MYOB and Xero and over 10 years experience within the bookkeeping/administrative field. She is a registered BAS agent and is currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting at Flinders University.


Her passion for efficient and streamlined processes sets her clients up for a win, providing advice along the way if any problems arise.


In her spare time she loves a long run, playing netball and spending time with her husband.

Rebecca Hurley

Accountant/Bookkeeper

Rebecca has more than a decade of experience using MYOB and other accounting software programs including Xero and Handisoft.


Rebecca can handle most of your accounting and bookkeeping needs and offers troubleshooting advice to clients who may be new to using a particular software program.


Having completed her Bachelor of Accounting through Charles Darwin University, Rebecca works at the firm on a part-time basis.


Rebecca enjoys binge watching Netflix and doing yoga. Passionate about environmental conservation, has a fondness for indoor plants and rides her bicycle to work most days.
